Books, Balls and Bicycles
As a result of a recent appeal on streetlife.com,
Porridge and Rice
received over 60 bicycles, more than 50 balls, and a large number of children's books.
The balls will enable schools to run regular football sessions and the bicycles will allow them to teach children to ride. The cost of balls and
bicycles means that few children from the Nairobi slums ever enjoy either activity. The books will be used to continue to build libraries at
each school.
If you have any books, balls, and bicycles to donate, please email
Porridge and Rice.
